The Raleigh County Commission on Aging is proud to provide home care to veterans in our area. The Homemaker and Home Health Aide Care program through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs provides supportive, non-medical assistance to eligible veterans in their homes. Services are delivered by trained aides and may include personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing), light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation. This program is especially valuable for veterans who are isolated, live alone, or have caregivers needing extra support. Services can be short-term during recovery or long-term to promote continued independence at home.
