The Lighthouse Program is funded by the West Virginia Bureau of Senior Services and designed for individuals aged 60 and older who need help but do not qualify for Medicaid programs. It provides up to 60 hours of service per month, based on assessed need, and includes personal care, mobility assistance, light housekeeping, laundry, and nutrition services such as meal preparation. Participants pay a sliding-scale fee based on income, making it more affordable for older adults who are not Medicaid-eligible but still need regular in-home support to remain safe and independent.
